          <dc:title>The treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis</dc:title>
<dcterms:abstract>Osteoporosis is a skeletal condition in which bone strength is compromised leading to a propensity to fragility fractures. Osteoporotic fractures have significant consequences for both the individual, due to the resulting morbidity and mortality, and for society in terms of resource implications. Fortunately, in recent years there have been an increasing number of treatments available. This thesis aims to investigate current topical areas regarding the treatment of osteoporosis.</dcterms:abstract>
