Localized surface plasmon effects in ZnO sandwiched gold nanoparticles under fs pumping (2015)
Conference Proceeding
Bongu, S. R., Bisht, P. B., Namboodri, R. C., Ali, S. A., Kelly, T. J., Costello, J. T., …Kasiviswanathan, S. (2015). Localized surface plasmon effects in ZnO sandwiched gold nanoparticles under fs pumping. In 2015 IEEE Photonics Conference (IPC) (212-213). https://doi.org/10.1109/IPCon.2015.7323479

Nonlinear optical properties of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) embedded ZnO thin films have been studied at 400 nm. While the AuNPs thin film shows the effect of saturable absorption, AuNPs embedded ZnO film exhibits the RSA behaviour.

MESA and NuGrid simulations of classical nova outbursts and nucleosynthesis (2014)
Conference Proceeding
Pignatari, M., Denisenkov, P. A., Herwig, F., & Truran, J. (2014). MESA and NuGrid simulations of classical nova outbursts and nucleosynthesis. In P. Woudt, & V. Ribeiro (Eds.), Stella Novae: Past and future decades

Classical novae are the results of surface thermonuclear explosions of hydrogen accreted by white dwarfs (WDs) from their low-mass main-sequence or red-giant binary companions. Chemical composition analysis of their ejecta shows that nova outbursts o... Read More about MESA and NuGrid simulations of classical nova outbursts and nucleosynthesis.

Phase mixing of popped star clusters (2013)
Conference Proceeding
Candlish, G. N., Smith, R., Fellhauer, M., Gibson, B. K., Kroupa, P., & Assmann, P. (2013). Phase mixing of popped star clusters. In A. Mateus, J. Gregorio-Hetem, & R. Cid Fernandes (Eds.),

As star clusters are expected to form with low star formation efficiencies, the gas in the cluster is expelled quickly and early in their development: the star cluster pops. This leads to an unbound stellar system. Previous N-body simulations have de... Read More about Phase mixing of popped star clusters.
