Dr Howard Wilde
Lecturer in Music
|Biography||Howard Wilde studied Music at Oxford, King's College London and Royal Holloway, where he completed a thesis on voice-leading theory in 16th-century counterpoint.
His teaching and research interests include Schenkerian theory, Renaissance polyphony (especially Josquin) and the singer-songwriter since 1960 (especially Dylan). A recorder player and occasional songwriter, Howard also plays Scrabble at international level.
