Dr Angela Kimyongur
Senior Lecturer in French/ Director of Research
|Biography||After her postgraduate research, Dr Kimyong�r taught in the French Department at the University of Lancaster.
She came to the University of Hull as Lecturer in French in 1989, becoming Senior Lecturer in 2006. She teaches French language and culture at all undergraduate levels.
Dr Kimyong�r has held various administrative roles of responsibility, including as Head of Modern Languages. She is currently Director of Research in the School of Histories, Languages and Cultures.
|Research Interests||Dr Kimyong�r's main research interests lie in the intersections between literature and politics, in cultural representations of the Second World War, and in contemporary French crime fiction and, more generally, in popular culture.|
