Miss Shelley Hindley

Biography Shelley Hindley holds a BA in French and German from The University of Hull. At the beginning of her teaching career, she worked in France, where she supported English language learning before returning to Hull to gain her teaching qualification. During her 10 year teaching career, she held the posts of Head of French, followed by Head of German in Hull secondary schools. She qualified as a level 2 assessor for the General Teaching Council’s Teaching and Learning Academy and co-led courses for the Teacher Effectiveness Enhancement Programme (TEEP). Shelley began working at the University of Hull in 2014 as MFL PGCE course tutor. She currently holds the roles of SCITT PGCE Programme Director, Academic Contact for Collaborative Provision, and she lectures on the BA/BSc Teaching Studies Programme.
