Biography Victoria is a Lecturer in Social Work who has been employed at the University of Hull since 2010. She is currently the MA Social Work Programme Director. Her area of interest is in domestic abuse / coercive control and her PhD examines professional perspectives on father involvement in the child protection system alongside father-child relationships in the context of domestic abuse. Victoria has extensive practice experience in a variety of roles relating to children and families within the Humber region including posts at De La Pole Hospital, Sutton Place Safe Centre, NCH Action for Children and the NSPCC.

Victoria is a Registered Social Worker, Practice Educator and a Teaching Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
