Project Description

Conference funding with regards to present the results of Ye Chen PhD research associated with knickpoint migration and submarine channel system evolution, at the conference of International Association of Sedimentologists (IAS) 2019. This well-known conference attracts a diversity of disciplines including geomorphology and earth surface processes, allowing the dissemination of their research to a varied and interdisplinary audience. As a third year PhD student they are at a crucial stage in developing my research ideas and welcome feedback from a variety of international researchers. They are looking to broaden their network and develop potential collaboration opportunities to take this research beyond the PhD and into post-doctoral study.
