Abstract
Objective: to evaluate the attitudes of nurses towards conditions that may predispose to the occurrence of adverse events in the ICU. Method: exploratory, analytical, descriptive, cross-sectional study with quantitative approach performed in six high complexity ICUs of general and teaching hospitals using a convenience sample of 128 nurses. Results: nearly 48% of participants had low perception of risk factors that could predispose to the occurrence of adverse events.
