Transport is key to modern life – we travel for work, we depend on the transport industry to move food, resources and products. We travel for family and for leisure. In countries like the UK, we spend significant time and resource on travel. Computing has the potential to improve the efficiency and safety, but this comes with significant risk and questions on what should be done. In this article we consider some of the key areas where ethics, technology and transportation collide.
