Rapid on-chip multi-step (bio)chemical procedures in continuous flow - manoeuvring particles through co-laminar reagent streams (2008)
Journal Article
Peyman, S. A., Iles, A., & Pamme, N. (2008). Rapid on-chip multi-step (bio)chemical procedures in continuous flow - manoeuvring particles through co-laminar reagent streams. Chemical communications : Chem comm / the Royal Society of Chemistry, 1220-1222. https://doi.org/10.1039/b716532c

We introduce a novel and extremely versatile microfluidic platform in which tedious multi-step biochemical processes can be performed in continuous flow within a fraction of the time required for conventional methods.

Simultaneous bioassays in a microfluidic channel on plugs of different magnetic particles (2007)
Journal Article
Bronzeau, S., & Pamme, N. (2008). Simultaneous bioassays in a microfluidic channel on plugs of different magnetic particles. Analytica Chimica Acta, 609(1), 105-112. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.aca.2007.11.035

Magnetic particles coated with specific biomolecules are often used as solid supports for bioassays but conventional test tube based techniques are time consuming and labour intensive. An alternative is to work on magnetic particle plugs immobilised... Read More about Simultaneous bioassays in a microfluidic channel on plugs of different magnetic particles.
