Mrs Gemma Holden

Biography Gemma is a NMC Registered Nurse (Learning Disability) who graduated at the University of Hull in 2010. Gemma has over twenty years experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities and complex health/behaviour.

Gemma has worked within education for over ten years, initially within the Learning and Development team at a local NHS trust and for the last five years as a Lecturer at the University of Hull. She is passionate about teaching and believes strongly in improving the student experience and outcomes whilst maintaining the standards expected by the university and the NMC.

Gemma is currently the Programme Director for Learning Disability Nursing.
Research Interests Complexities in Learning Disabilities including behaviour and meeting health inequalities.
