Ms Shu-Mei Li

Biography	Originally from Taiwan and a champion of language learning and cultural exploration, Shu-Mei has taught Chinese (Mandarin), English and Marketing as well as supported students on their language learning journeys for 15 years in the UK HE. Shu-Mei’s classroom is built on communication, collaboration, experimentation and creativity. Learning associated with interactive and fun activities is at the heart of her teaching practice. Shu-Mei develops, organises and promotes language opportunities. She is passionate about seeing students develop and become more culturally agile and linguistically competent as they seek to become global citizens. Shu-Mei has organised conferences such as Doing Business with China. She has provided language training training and cultural briefing sessions to multinational corporations regarding international operation and expansion.
