|Biography||Dr Md Mamoon Al Bashir, AfHEA is an Assistant Professor in Logistics & Supply Chain Management at Hull University Business School. He has more than eight years of teaching and research experience in the United Kingdom and Bangladesh. He teaches Supply Chain Management, Global Logistics Management, Operations Management and Research Methodology modules. His research area mainly focuses on Supply Chain Management and Digitalisation. Dr Mamoon is an Honourable Member, International Advisory Board, Canadian University of Bangladesh. Before joining Hull, Mamoon acted as the Director of MBA & EMBA Programs and Director, International Affairs at Canadian University of Bangladesh. Previously he had the privilege of working in different academic roles in University of East Anglia, Aberystwyth University, BRAC University, East West University and Bangladesh University of Textiles.
Dr Mamoon holds a PhD in Supply Chain Management and Digitalisation from Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia. He received his M.Sc. and Post Graduate Teaching Certificate (PGCTHE) form Aberystwyth University. He is an Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy, UK.
Dr Mamoon is working as a Co_PI with Project AURA and local SMEs. Previously, he contributed to different funded projects. Among them BBSRC funded ‘Sparking Impact Project’ and British Academy funded 'A cross country examination of supply chain barriers on market access for small and medium firms in India and UK’ are noteworthy.
He publishes in several international peer reviewed journals including ABS 3*, ABDC A and SCOPUS indexed Q1 rating journals. He is one of the Editors of Archives of Business Administration and Management Journal, GAVIN PUBLISHERS, IL USA. He is also working as a reviewer in some of the world leading journals including International Journal of Production Research, Production Planning and Control, Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Grid and Utility Computing and Qualitative Journal of Financial Management.
|Research Interests||Mamoon's research is based centrally on issues related to Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Digitalisation and Logistics Management. He welcomes PhD applications in these areas.|
