Biography Prior to joining Hull University Business School, Dr. Dalir held academic positions at Sheffield Hallam University and Oxford Brookes University. Over the past few years, she has actively engaged in interdisciplinary research to address complex issues, aiming to develop impactful and innovative solutions. Her recent research endeavours have focused on evaluating the effectiveness of digital innovations in driving economic and business growth, as well as enhancing market competitiveness using Agent-based Modelling and Simulation (ABMS).
Sara has authored several articles published in peer-reviewed business and management journals. Additionally, she has participated as a researcher in three funded research projects over the last five years. Most recently, she developed a tool using ABMS to simulate the impact of innovative interventions on the seasonal performance of businesses in a large project (€23.3 million) named 'EXPERIENCE,' led by Norfolk County Council and co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Interreg France (Channel) England Programme.
