Abstract

当代中国的儒学研究与日益高涨的民族主义相伴而生。二者的关系应如何理解?民族主义可被视为现代性条件下的个体重建本体安全感的心理机制,具有两个取向:当以主权为导向时,它具有排斥性和侵略性;当以公民身份为导向时,它具有包容性和多元性。在中国语境下,一方面,受到文化(民族)主义的影响,当代中国儒学研究倾向于表现出一种排斥性和极端性;但另一方面,随着公民身份的发展,它有可能发展出包容性一面,其中“儒家文化公民身份”的构建是关键。
