The intelligent technology of CMM

Abstract

The key technologies of intelligent CMM, including extracting the measuring information of a part from its CAD files, deciding measuring strategies, making algorithms of object-oriented error compensation, accuracy optimization, and collision-free measuring path, are proposed. It is pointed out that intelligence should be an important developing trend of CMM.
