Abstract
Introduction:
The principal purpose of this project was to evaluate the Serious and Organised Crime Community Coordinator (SOC CC) in Grimsby and Hull. The Home Office’s SOC CC project has aimed to bring together all the existing support of the state (and third sector) to deliver, at the local level, tailored and holistic response to organised crime groups (OCGs). The main purpose is to support targeted local communities to raise awareness, resilience and pull vulnerable subjects away from criminal exploitation, producing an evaluation of the impact of this pilot project (Home Office, 2019), and to increase the ability to divert individuals at risk of SOC involvement.
