Bibliometric analysis of management and leadership in the sustainability agenda

Abstract

In recent years, interest in the role of management and leadership within the broader sustainability agenda has risen significantly, with both academic and business practitioner communities showing significant interest in examining current and emerging issues. Within this context, this book chapter reviews the existing literature on the role of management and leadership within the broader sustainability agenda to present a bibliometric analysis of research published on management and leadership in the sustainability agenda.

This book chapter evaluates the results obtained via bibliometric technique on a dataset of 456 journal articles published on the theory and practice of the role of management and leadership within the broader sustainability agenda. This book chapter summarises major research patterns on the role of management and leadership within the broader sustainability agenda in research and could serve as an alternative and potential guide for future research in this field.
