Abstract

This portfolio thesis has three parts.

Part one is a systematic literature review examining the theoretical, conceptual and empirical literature regarding the relationships between coping styles and distress in
infertility.

Part two is an empirical paper exploring the relationships between emotional intelligence, coping styles and distress in women attending a subfertility clinic.

Part three comprises the appendices.
