Biography Matthew Barnard is a composer, producer, engineer and researcher working across all styles of acoustic and electronic music. The field of spatial representation in sound, particularly immersive methods, form the crux of much of his research and practice. He is Director of the Hull Electroacoustic Research Organisation (HEARO), which encompasses compositional, performative and technological research and practice. He is an active mastering engineer (matt @ Rockville) and production consultant.
