Professor Nishikant Mishra
Biography | Professor Nishikant Mishra is a distinguished scholar and expert in the field of supply chain and management systems. He is currently a Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Management and Co-Director of the Institute of Digital Innovation and Sustainable Transformation at Hull University Business School, University of Hull, UK. Nishikant has held several prestigious academic positions, including Head of Logistics and Management Systems at Hull University, Director of Postgraduate Research at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia, Director of Research at Aberystwyth Business School, Aberystwyth University. These roles have equipped him with valuable insights and a deep understanding of the academic landscape. His research revolves around harnessing the power of technology to facilitate efficient decision-making processes. He has been involved in numerous projects and played a pivotal role in the development of decision support systems for prominent organizations such as the NHS, Morrison, and Sainsbury's. His expertise extends to the creation of software solutions for multimodal transportation optimization, cloud computing, and blockchain-enabled systems for low-carbon supply chains. His research findings have been widely disseminated through the publication of 60 papers in reputable, refereed journals.
