Biography Anne Kildunne is currently a PDRA on the “Evolving a Circular Plastics Economy” interdisciplinary project where she researches current usages of plastic and potential smart policy solutions. She began life as an economist but moved onto study of political processes and legislation and has a particular interest in how policy develops at differing scales.
Previously she worked as a research assistant at Durham University Business School on a comparative EU project “Recover”, which studied the effects of outsourcing on collective bargaining in the EU.

Her PhD at the University of York examined the impact of EC legislation on the development of bio-based materials in the UK car industry.
Previous roles include: counter-fraud work in the insurance industry; analysing packaging data for Arco; teaching English in China and Spain.
