Biography Kim is a chartered psychologist who previously trained as an occupational therapist, a dramatherapist and a practitioner of cognitive analytic therapy (CAT).

He worked for 25 years in the NHS in Hull and the East Riding in areas such as common mental health problems, personality disorders and functional syndromes (medically unexplained symptoms).

Kim's PhD in clinical psychology looked at the use of creative story making activity with people with borderline personality disorder.

He maintains an interest in the intersection of the arts and mental health. Subsequent research used a health services research model to evaluate psychological services.
