Biography Dr Duncan Hunter is a researcher and Programme
Director for MA TESOL at the University of Hull, United
Kingdom. Duncan worked in a variety of EFL and EAL
posts in the UK, Japan and Poland before following an
academic career in the fields of Applied Linguistics and
TESOL. While lecturing at the Universities of Warwick
and St Mark and St John (Marjon) he was involved with
a large-scale UK/Malaysian teacher training project
involving Malaysian teachers. He has undertaken
several projects with the British Council, including a
development initiative involving Marjon, the British
Council and the Chongqing Educational Board. Duncan
is editor of the Key Concepts feature of the ELT Journal.

Teaching and Learning I presently teach on the MA TESOL, BA Education Studies and MA in Education. Present modules include Approaches to English language teaching (MA TESOL) and Ethical Dilemmas and the Moral Maze (BA in Education Studies).
