Grigorios Vasilopoulos
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Biography | Greg Vasilopoulos is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Energy and Environment Institute. His research interests are centred on understanding Earth surface processes and morphodynamics. Greg’s recent work is focused on the evolution and resilience of large rivers, deltas and estuaries under anthropogenic and climatic impacts on system function. He gained a BSc in Geology from the University of Athens in 2011 and an MSc in GIS & RS for Environmental Modelling and Management from the universities of Twente and Southampton in 2013. He then went on to complete a PhD in Physical Geography at the University of Southampton on the development of novel methods to quantify vegetative roughness. |
