Once solidified and the methods were peer reviewed and published in the journal Thermology International, symptomatic and asymptomatic tendinopathy patients were recruited. There were assessed clinically and asked to complete a series of exercises-based tasks. Skin temperature was captured and recorded. Participants then had the option of undergoing a 12-week heavy slow resistance rehabilitation programme, before reassessment of function and skin temperature.
