| Biography | Claira is a Clinical Lecturer on the Post- Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (IAPT) training programme and a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) working for the NHS. She qualified as a CBT Therapist in 2015, and has previous experience working in the NHS as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) and a Healthcare Assistant on a forensic unit. She currently supervises trainee and qualified staff within the NHS and university. Claira is also currently Chair of a not-for-profit organisation which runs monthly support group meetings in Hull for people with OCD and other related mental health problems. She has a particular interest in Third- Wave CBT therapies. |
