Biography	I firstly graduated in 2000 from Coventry University where I gained a BSc (Hons) in Sport Science & Health Sciences. I then went on to do my Physiotherapy degree, graduating in 2005 from Sheffield Hallam University. I obtained a Band 5 job at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and completed all my band 5 rotations and carried out acute respiratory on call for 8 years. After 18 months I moved to a Band 6 musculoskeletal (MSK) rotational post which provided myself with a vast array of experience in various MSK settings including hydrotherapy, gym rehabilitation, fracture clinic, day case Orthopaedic ward work, Rheumatology and GP practice. I worked as a Band 6 for 5 years, owned and ran my own Private Physiotherapy clinic and worked within professional football in the Academies for Derby County FC and Barnsley FC. I then took a Team Leader position in an MSK outpatient department at Scarborough Hospital working for the York NHS trust. After 2 years I decided to return to full time MSK practice and gained an MSK Extended Scope Physiotherapy position with Healthshare, a private MSK Physiotherapy company who carried out NHS contract for the Hull Clinical Commissioning Group. I previously worked for the Single Point of Access service in Hull triaging for Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery and MSK related Rheumatology. I have completed my MSc in Advancing Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal). In 2020 I joined the University of Hull as a Lecturer Practitioner working 2 days per week in MSK practice and 2 days for the University which I did for 2 years. I am now a full-time member of the lecturing team. I really enjoy teaching others and it is one of the best aspects to my job role. I am really keen to educate the next generation of Physiotherapists and provide them with an evidenced based approach to their practice.
Teaching and Learning	I am the lead for the first year Physiotherapy programmes Anatomy & Physiology for Physiotherapy practice module and I also teach on the Exercise, Physical Activity and Health promotion module. I am the lead for the second year Physiotherapy programmes Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy module.
