Dr Zahra Shirgholami
Biography | I am a lecturer at the University of Hull. My research specialises in corporate practices and labour exploitation within domestic and global supply chains. My research has involved working with senior government, NGO, and corporate stakeholders from the fields of apparel, hospitality, and tourism to understand the issues and pressures of delivering responsible business practices. I'm also interested in understanding the value of cultural/structural competency in response to modern slavery. As an early research career, I am keen to collaborate with researchers, policy-makers and practitioners around the globe. |
