Biography I am a Lecturer in Geospatial and Earth Observation with several years of experience in the private sector working on methods development for different applications using remotely sensed datasets.
I am interested in the monitoring of vegetation in agricultural and forest environments, air pollution, and flooding, through the development and application of remote sensing technologies.
Research Interests I am particularly interested in the following themes:
1) retrieval of biophysical/biochemical parameters;
2) methods development for estimation and detection of forest and crop health;
3) impact of flash flooding over agricultural lands;
4) air quality;
5) image processing, fusion, classification, segmentation, and noise removal.
Teaching and Learning My teaching includes contributions to modules on the MSc AI & Data Science course.
