Project Description

A four-week fellowship at the Oxford Centre for Methodism and Church History. The fellowship will allow me to undertake preliminary research in preparation for further funding applications to fund 3 years of research for a monograph on the congregational experiences of English Wesleyanism in the long nineteenth century. Research conducted during this fellowship will also contribute to a collaborative exhibition and public art project with the Oxford Centre for Methodism and Church History to celebrate 200 years of James Smetham's birth.
