Perspective: A multicenter, randomized, double-blind, active-controlled study to evaluate the effects of LCZ696 compared to valsartan on cognitive function in patients with chronic heart failure and preserved ejection fraction

Project Description

A clinical trial of LCZ verses valsartan in heart failure patients with preserved ejection fraction. The study uses MRI and PET scans to identify amyloid deposits in the brain and any adverse effects of cognitive function of teh study drug, LCZ696.
The study will be carried out at Castle Hill Hospital.
