C-Screening: Cervical cancer screening in older women aged 55 – 64 years old
Project Description
The purpose of this study is to explore cervical screening amongst older women (55-64 years) living in Yorkshire. We will investigate the views and experiences of women regarding cervical screening and explore the attitudes of healthcare professionals regarding cervical screening in older women. We will then develop interventions to increase uptake amongst older women. Overall Aim Why are older women (55-64 years old) underrepresented within cervical screening programmes in the UK and how can we begin to address this?
