The purpose of this proposal is to enable an international visiting Professorship at the research environment Innovation and Product Realisiation (IPR), one of two research profiles in the School of Innovation, design and Engineering, Malardalen University. The international visiting professorship is designated for Gerald Midgley, Professor of Systems Thinking, at the Business School, University of Hull. Professor Midgley is a globally leading scholar in systematic intervention and systemic collaboration methodologies. The purpose of the fellowship is to support the achievement of MDHs strategic objectives, with specific focus on the IPR research environment and its graduate school of Innovation and Design. Professor Midgley will therefore act in on of the priority research environments of MFH, given that IPR has strong support for the MHD board and is a key area in the MDH research strategy.
