This is a study with Robert Driver and Simran Singh from York Teaching hospital. The project is about Prevalence of cirrhosis and its related complications amongst patients with hereditary haemochromatosis in England. And we will require the NHS digital data for this research. HHTU DSH is to house the data (John Turgoose). There are £14k of charitable funding for the project and we expect that this should cover the NHSD request as well as the DSH costs.
The funds for the project are held within York NHS Trust. The proposed IRAS application will be sponsored by the Trust R&D department and list then UoH as a site (since all the data will be stored here securely).
