Project Description
This project will combine HYMS/Hull’s biomedical and clinical expertise in vascular biology with Emblation’s track record in bringing medical devices to market to validate and commercialise novel patented microwave probes for treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD). To achieve this, we will deliver proof of concept data from human in vitro and ex vivo models to demonstrate, for the first time, that unlocking the utility of patented microwave probes to reduce vascular dysfunction responsible for PAD has significant clinical and commercial potential.
