Abstract
The mystery of the giant claw is an illustrated children's adventure book by researchers Katie Parson and Josh Wolstenholme.
Katie and her team were joined by a group of environmental activists named the HedgeHunters to create a series of children's story books which highlight the importance of hedgerows and the diversity of animals that use them. This book is the first in a series of 15 to be completed.
Hunter the hedgehog goes out for a walk to enjoy the sunshine, but is alarmed to hear a call for help from beneath a heap of leaves. Rushing to the rescue, Hunter finds a prickly branch called Twig, firmly stuck. After freeing him, Hunter wants to know what happened. When Twig tells his story, Hunter is horrified. She knows she must act!
