Lecturer in Teacher Education
Opening paragraph:
Over eighteen years ago, I graduated from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, not just as someone passionate about reflective teaching, but with a desire to make a meaningful contribution to the practice. The Reflective Approach to Teaching Practicum Debriefing (R.A.T.P. D) strategy emerged from this commitment to contribute to practice. It is a simple, yet powerful strategy used to enhance how student teachers learn from their practicum experiences and empower teacher educators to guide them more effectively. Over the years, the strategy has proven to foster meaningful learning and enhance reflection.
