Biography Amy is a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology in the Department of Sport, Health and Exercise Science.

Amy's research interests broadly include health behaviour change, the role of physical activity in health and wellbeing, and barriers to health behaviour change.

Amy's current research is focused on designing an electronic referral and reporting platform to better connect patients to specialist exercise interventions.

Beyond academia, Amy has applied experience of delivering health behaviour change interventions as a NHS Health Trainer and a Health and Wellbeing Advisor.
Teaching and Learning Amy is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and is currently working towards achieving Fellowship status. She is taking the lead on various modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the University of Hull, in the area of Sport and Exercise Psychology.
