Biography | Samara graduated from the University of Hull with a BSc in Sport Rehabilitation in 2015, she went on to work in both private practice and in semiprofessional rugby union - completing postgraduate courses in suturing, advanced kinesio and rock taping and instrument assisted soft tissue massage. Samara joined the Hull University Sports Rehabilitation team in 2016 and became a Higher Education Fellow in 2019. In 2020 Samara joined the RFU as a faculty member, delivering the Pre-Hospital Immediate Care in Sport postgraduate course around the UK. |
Teaching and Learning | Samara currently teaches on the Sport Rehabilitation undergraduate programme. Module leader for: Soft Tissue Injuries and Musculoskeletal Assessments Competency Checks Samara currently leads the Emergency Care Pitch-side support for all Athletics union, on campus BUCs matches. |
