| Biography | Niall Thomas is a musicologist focusing on the study of the art of record production and phenomenological perspectives of producing Metal music. Niall is also interested in the relationship between music production pedagogy and industry, to promote inclusivity and diversity. Further research interests include the development of music technology and links with genre specific production processes; as well as the wider ranging study of technological philosophy. As a practitioner, Niall is a record producer and mixer and performs as a bass player, most recently with Doom Metal collective 'Dead Witches' (Heavy Psych Sound Records). |
