Biography At present I am working as Programme Director of the MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Education Lead of Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme.

My specialism revolves around sustainable supply chain design, management and planning and data driven decision making.

I have led and collaborated on innovative projects funded by KTP, AKT, STFC, including a machine learning system for UK Immigration Law, a blockchain-enabled Carbon Calculator, and a Circular Economy Business Model for ICT.

Worked closely with AURA team and local SMEs on different ERDF funded projects, which helped me to transfer scientific and technical knowledge to companies and raising awareness and promote “environmental literacy” through applied research.


My educational philosophy revolves around embracing the 21st-century learning skills commonly known as the 4C's: creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking. I prioritize integrating current research findings and industry practices into the core of my teaching and learning approach. The main aim is to adopt an optimum and unique blend of modern and traditional critical thinking methods drawn from best practice and supported by technology
Research Interests My research interests are mainly in the domain of sustainable operations and supply chain management, carbon calculation, inclusive and integrated value chains, technological adoption, supply chain configurations and stakeholder relationships on building resilience systems.
