Project Description
The vision of Viral and Bacterial Adhesin Network Training (ViBrANT) is to bring together world-leading European scientists on interdisciplinary research into viral and bacterial adhesins for xxx to do yyy. The project will deliver doctoral training for 15 ESRs and deliver high impact outputs, including the development of novel diagnostic tools in the field of infectious diseases. It will broadly affect adhesion biology in general. ESRs will be trained in an inter-sectoral network of 9 academic institutions, 1 government research institute, 5 SMEs and 1 large enterprise. They will acquire the necessary skills to translate fundamental research into technologies that will have a strong positive impact on European socio-economic development and the care of patients with infectious diseases.
