ABP requires fish monitoring to be undertaken at Alkborough Flats and including fish surveys to be carried out between 2017 and 2018 (spring and autumn) and associated data analysis and reporting. This is to satisfy monitoring requirements of the Environment Agency for the site, in order to assess the development of habitat and associated fish fauna using the site, also taking into consideration the results of previous monitoring.
The invertebrate analysis of benthic core samples collected from Alkborough Flats is also required as part of the contract.
