Project Description
The aim of the evaluation is to provide an assessment of the SOC CC project in Grimsby and Hull considering its mains objectives of reducing the impact of SOC on communities and protecting the most vulnerable members of society from criminal exploitation.
The examination will focus on evaluating the SOC CC impact two years after its rollout, to produce a concrete and substantial understanding of the outcomes, benefits and efficiencies of the SOC CC role, in particular in relation to the expectation to ‘Protect, Prepare, Prevent’ the community of Grimsby (East Marsh, South Marsh, and West Marsh ) and Hull (Orchard Park estate in Hull) for any forms of OCGs. Furthermore, the project aims to provide an understanding of the important information about the factors that can affect/strengthen the impact of this 4P’s policy.
The research team will provide a report to Humberside Police that will allow the project and protocols adopted to be adapted in response to examples of good and bad practice and the observations and reflections of SOC CC evaluation in the urban area of Grimsby and Hull.
