Project Description

This project aims to facilitate interactive climate-focussed workshops for youth, which builds upon previous research undertaken in the School of Education as part of an Erasmus+ project: Young Citizens for Change: Developing Environmental Activism in Young People through creative Citizen Inquiry (2022-2023). These interactive workshops will serve as a platform for young people residing in structurally disadvantaged coastal cities to unite and share first-hand experiences grappling with the impacts of climate change. We would like to emphasise the crucial participation of underrepresented groups in civil society, specifically young people, ensuring that decisions made are both inclusive and attuned to their livelihoods and futures.
