Abstract

An edition of Captain William Leslie's letters from the Leven & Melville Papers, with commentary, as part of a compendium volume published by the Army Records Society. Willie Leslie, a son of the Earl of Leven & Melville, was killed at the Battle of Princeton during the American War of Independence.
