Enhancement of H2 uptake via fluorination but not lithiation for Zn4N8 and Zn4N6O type clusters (2010)
Journal Article
Redshaw, C., Jana, S., Shang, C., Elsegood, M. R., Lu, X., & Guo, Z. X. (2010). Enhancement of H2 uptake via fluorination but not lithiation for Zn4N8 and Zn4N6O type clusters. Chemical communications : Chem comm / the Royal Society of Chemistry, 46(47), 9055-9057. https://doi.org/10.1039/c0cc03380d

The introduction of fluorinated aryls at zinc in Zn (and to a lesser extent Zn4N8-type4N6O) cages led to enhanced H2 uptake. Lithium alkoxides have been shown to link such cages (non-fluorinated), but showed no substantial improvement in uptake.
