Biography	Yu did her postgraduate master at the University of Sheffield in Applied Linguistics with TESOL. Her master dissertation compared the practical arguments in David Cameron’s and Theresa May’s speeches on Brexit. Her PhD at the University of Hull with Dr. Michael Farrelly focuses on flood and coastal erosion risk management in England, combining critical discourse analysis with corpus linguistic tools to analyse a corpus of policy documents and parliament debates.
