Investigation of habitat suitability for estuarine wading birds using high-resolution tracking
Project Description
The BTO’s Curlew Appeal aims to identify the pressures facing this rapidly declining species as a necessary first step to introducing potential conservation interventions. As part of this work, we would like to understand better how wintering birds move around the landscape, in order to minimise threats to the habitats they use and to understand the likely impacts of development, disturbance, and other pressures that might affect their survival.
